Please explain to me how Sakura is useless.........

She was partnered with the elite elder of Sunagakure, Chiyo-baa sama, and played a huge role in bringing down the strongest and fiercest ninja of the Hidden Sand, Akasuna no Sasori.

She concocted an antidote to Sasoris poison, which an entire village failed to do, including Chiyo-baa sama, and was also thought impossible by Sasori.

She saved Kankuros life with her unique medical techniques.

She is the medical ninja in Team Kakashi and she always does her job well.

She healed many people during Pains invasion, possibly saved their lives.

If she hadn't decided to take down Sasuke on her own, prompting everyone to chase after her, including Naruto, Sasuke would still be willing to kill everyone in Konoha, and Naruto woud still have doubts about his friend and his decision.

By doing so, she also saved Karins life, who was about to be killed by Sasuke.

Sakura was the only one who tricked the greatest trickster in the war arc, White Zetsu, took him down and deciphered his abilities. Thanks to which, Zetsus origin was discovered by the Shinobi army.

And she will most certainly surpass Tsunade if she hasn't already.....

How is she useless? Hate much?

Here's the misconception, the reason why people hate on sakura is because, she whines and cries over sasuke too much, she lied to narutos face, and then failed to kill sasuke. Other than that, she's not that bad.

IMO these are the major things that contribute to Sakura hate:

1. The Bandwagon Effect - People naturally want to be a part of their environment by nature. Let's put it in Liar Game terms: you're in class, and the teacher asks if answer A or B is correct. You're certain it's B, but when the teacher calls down the rows, the first person says A grudgingly, and the next person repeats A with full confidence. By the time it's your turn, B sounds a whole lot less appealing.

2. Her combat skills - This IS a fighting-type of manga. If she doesn't show flashy jutsu, then it's unlikely she's going to get much consideration. It's been too long since her fight with Sasori.

3. Her attitude - In my opinion, Sakura was always supposed to show human emotion. Her characteristic is simply love. I actually agree that Kishimoto screwed up some parts on Sasuke x Sakura but if it went well, I think most people would enjoy her.

I agree that people hate unless a character has a Sharingan or a TBB. I'd like to see Naruto or Sasuke take a punch from her.

The only times I've seen Sakura being called useless rightfully was in VS threads where she wouldn't be able to actually land a hit on her opponent.

I think Sakura would be a much better fighter if she could summon Katsuyu. I'm quite surprised Tsunade hasn't given her this ability, since both Naruto and Sasuke can summon their master's allies.

Her abilities don't make up for her poor character. She's annoying and too full of herself. She took advantage of Naruto's feelings and undeserving of his compassion toward her.

Sakura HAS use but as to the overall plot and long term usefulness, she stopped being at all useful after dealing with Sasori.
Heck, Kishimoto even forgets about her half the time.

She's as useful as any random medical ninja, she may aswel be an extra right now.
