You can supposedly wish yourself unfused with the dragon balls like Kabito Kai did. Not to mention even with the fusion dance they're still underpowered ssb gogeta would have like what 10-15? Min max while Zamasu have near unlimited energy.

If they are going to fuse, They're obviously going to go down the potara route.

Potara is cannon, Normal fusion is not. on top of that they have the potara available to them due to the stroke of "luck" that the two Kai's want to stick around.

It was a good episode overall to me. Some Bulma shine some Vegeta power up etc. Though i'm excited if Vegeto make an appearance ssb Vegeta too stronk.

The fusion dance is more reasonable then the earrings.. Gogeta's power appeared like pure energy not just raw power like Vegito..

Problem is, They have 30 minutes or less depending on how much power the exert to get the job done an that could be a serious handicap..

Too late now. Gowasu is there already, and thus the earings are there. Its painfully obvious that those earings are, in fact, the only reason he is there. I too would have prefered Gogeta, but now the setup is already done. The only way Fusion can still be done is if Potara is done and somehow reversed or fails, allowing the heroes to try and pull off another method of fusion. But really, with the latest episode, I would be very surprised if anything other than Potara came out of it.
