[PS4] Playstation VR....are you going to buy?

OK I am going to level with you guys. I pretty much see VR as a Gimmick a REALLY!! Expensive Gimmick.

Just as an example you have PSVR

$400 for just the headset, not including, the Playstation Move Controllers, and PS camera that you need for this thing to work.

All in all Sony said that later they are going to do a bundle with a couple games for $599.

There is also a rumor that there are some performance issues with running the headset on the launch PS4 and that in order to get a good experience with PSVR you will have to purchase Sony's new system the PS4K/ PlayStation Neo which will most likely sell for at least $400

So in all to have a true immersion VR experience you may have to pay more than 1000 USD

Hell no.
I mean, VR really has a lot of potential, but not on consoles if you ask me. Give it time, a few more years of experience with the technology and VR can be a really cool thing for everyone. But now it's just unfinished and too expensive. VR on consoles seems to be the worst idea since the hardware isn't as powerful as a good PC while VR drains a lot of ressources.

All this money for good graphics and yet the games are usually ass. Uncharted is an exception. I should get that game one day :l
