I think that it's finally time for Obito to die. He either takes the hit for Sakura and is able to teleport one or both back before he dies of exhaustion or is able to troll Madara one last time with Rin-Jutsu.

Obito is probably going to die-his story is coming to an end. Just look at the conditions of Kakashi and Guy. Those three(from that generation) probably don't have much left to add to the plot anymore.
