Here's my think... I've been saying this around the base.
The whole how does Tobi know all these things is because of Zetsu. What does Zetsu usually do? Gather information. So that's how Tobi found out and knows stuff about people, including Kakashi. You saw how Tobi takes it personally to everyone and invades their minds with uncertainties and insecurity. He just does it because he has intel on the from no other that the above mentioned.
The big question here is WHO Zetsu is and WHO made him and for what? Because, as we know, Zetsu has a very good close relationship with Tobi.
Of course, it's a big curiosity who Tobi is as well, but in my opinion, this is the answer on how he knows stuff.

Without explaining all my random thoughts.

I simply believe that Zetsu plays a HUGE role here.
Meaning, the reason Tobi is able to comment so much on Guy, Naruto, especially Kakashi is because of Zetsu.

Zetsu can change into exact copies of people down to chakra readings just from a touch.
Zetsu can record battles and share them with Tobi.
Zetsu eats the corpses of falled akatasuki (and probly others) - I believe Zetsu can extract information from the dead bodies. (we've seen this done from other chars)

I believe Zetsu has a lot more powers we haven't seen and that the Zetsu power reveal will clear up a lot of other questions as well.

Just my take that Zetsu is the key without my walls of text lol.

For some reason im thinking tobp is that ninja from iwagakure, the one from the kakashi gaiden, that shinobi named Kakko. The one kakashi and obito fought to save rin and he escaped and took the whole building down. Like I read the manga here at NB and at ***********.com, trust *********** more as recent years and better quality. Says that tobi participated in the war, maybe he fooled everyone and took Obitios eye. How Kakashi said to tobi, "you are..." and tobi interupted him reminded me of their talk and battle where kakashi got his eye.

I dont know why it just came to me.

i doubt he's obito since tobi said he took the eyes or something like that if he was obito he would say i had all my life.

Actually he said he got the eye during the last world war at the bridge. Which is where Obito unlocked it so its the same thing really.

I've always considered it possible that its Obito but recently the evidence is stacking up quite abit.

I agree with Tobi's statement possibly relating to Kakashi's failure to protect Rin which was Obito's dying wish.
Also Obito was considered the black sheep of the Uchiha which could have raised some resentment.

Also why would Tobi tell Kakashi not to bother using Kamui on him? especially if it wouldnt have any effect outside of battle. Surely it would be in Tobi's interest to watch Kakashi waste his uses of the MS? It could be because he has some kind of attachment to Kakashi.

Him saying how kamui will not work on him and all that. Plus every time I see them to in the same place I just get that feeling there is a connection its the way tobi talks.

Anyway I am just wanted for it to be revealed so I can get back at all the people who mocked us Tobi = Obito believers so hard.

Hey I just noticed in your sig, Tobi has the same MS as kakashi's. I believe 100% they are the eyes of the same ninja, Obito.

I think its pretty clear that that connection was obvious and the fact the they show Kakashi reminiscing alot and looking surprised makes you think its Obito.

Im betting Tobi will ask Naruto how he would feel if his friend Sasuke let Sakura died, how would he react? I see this being integrated into the plot

I think it is very possible that Obito could be Tobi now, the things he says just hint at that fact. Who is to say that Obito didn't develop his ability to use Kamui at that time and moved the half of his body that was crushed by the boulders to the other dimension? This is pretty far-fetched, but hey...we have seen stranger shiet happen like Oro coming back from the hicky on Ankos (i think that was her name) neck. lol

2 its all mind games. He knows personal things about everyone. He uses the pressure for naruto to find peace and also mentions gai fixation on youth against Gai. He knows everything about everyone just about and he uses what's most important to these people to try and manipulate them and get into their heads. He does the same thing with sasuke by mentioning itachi. He didn't have to say any of that. But it was something to get into sasukes head to help him carry out his plan by making him upset at the people of konoha.

Also Tobi doesn't have to stalk anyone or are you forgetting he has zetsu as a tool the best spy ninja someone can have because he's apart of the earth And can record the things he sees . Which means he can appear anywhere and everywhere and record everything. So information about others is not a problem for Tobi to have...
