Pal, that was honestly the big question I asked myself the first time I finished reading 574. I've looked it up and I still have no freaking clue. It'd be great to know; Kishi couldn't have just wasted two panels with Sasuke's hand on his sword for nothing. Just saying.

My guess is that it's just supposed to be the sound his sword makes.
