[Discussion] Pirate king from worst generation other than luffy

If luffy dies somehow someway. And oda defies all odds of an anime and the lead character doesn’t reach their goal. Which of the worst generation will be the pirate king? I feel like zoro would obviously be runner up to do it for luffy but the straw hats would be no more so they might split like roger crew. But on the other hand I feel like he wouldn’t even want and just want the worlds greatest swordsman. So I would want to see law. I don’t really like everyone else but we also haven’t gotten everyone’s back stories yet. And were does Blackbeard come into play he’s still in the running still. And shanks and kaido don’t really seem interested

Yo I kinda completely forgot about the poneglyphs so it looks like it would really be a pirate queen robin. Is she really the last one that know how to decipher them. Like how’d roger do it granted her family probably wasn’t wiped out that time

Capt is an abbreviation for captain, captain kid.
They're all bad guys really but Law was depicted as the inherently evil guy until the alliance happened in Punk Hazard, so when we get further details on Kid your opinion on him would probably change like it did with Law.
I feel like Kidd cares more for his crew members than Law in a sense.

Blackbeard is the easy pick since he's a lot like Luffy. If nearly everyone from Roger's crew is betting on Luffy, I'd bet on the next best thing. It also helps that he's already a Yonko.

If I HAVE to choose someone from the worst generation though, it would be Law cause I can see him still getting help from Robin and others since they're good friends now with the alliance and all.. plus I can see him actually doing it in honor of Luffy more than for himself.

Zoro is not a leader like Luffy, he doesn't have the skill Luffy has. People won't start following Zoro like they do with Luffy. That is something Mihawk commented on during the war.

Luffy will become pirate king because people clear a path for him to Raftel. He is a man of the people. Sheer force isn't going to cut it proven by the fact that nobody became Pirate King after Roger, while the yonkou seem to know how to get the map in their hands but are also unable to take it from each other.

For example, swap luffy with Zoro on Amazon Lily. Zoro would've been killed there while Luffy made an ally.

Swap Zoro with Luffy on WCI, Zoro would've completed the mission when Sanji was safe. Luffy went back on Sanji's request to save his family. Making the Vinsmokes an ally.

You can do that for a couple of islands. Gladiators in Dressrosa etc etc. That is the difference between life and death for the SH's.

Law seems to get that though, look at his actions at the auction hall or with G5. He is way more political and smart about approaching people.

Yea you’re right we don’t know much about most of the worst gen. But I’ve alway just thought law was cooler looks cooler and his devil fruit is much cooler. Plus he’s a doctors so he’s alway gunna be able to help people. Saved jimbe and luffy

Law is definitely cooler, I agree. The thing about Law is that he’s a master planner and in Punk Hazard he revealed that he wants to depend on the Staw Hats so that he can steal the crown to become Pirate King. From what I remember. He wants to work with Luffy unlike Kidd.

It's not shit talking when you think that Zoro will never be pirate king and you explain why. Your post is nonsense, you missed all the points. It's not at all about what Zoro contributed to Luffy, that is not very interesting. It's about what Zoro is capable of doing as a captain, and his mindset wouldn't get him far on the path to pirate king.

I have no clue what Sanji all of a sudden has to do with this. But I guess because I have a Sanji avatar you must think I'm a Zoro hater. I have to disappoint you there, I like Zoro very much. If Sanji's defining moment was to bake a cake for Big Mom that is pretty cool actually, since he is a chef first. He was able to whip up a copy of the wedding cake in a couple of hours without the proper preparation and while on the move, even beating Streussen's flavor and satisfying Big Mom. That is cementing his cooking abilities among the best in the world. His dream is not to be the strongest in something he wants to experience all kinds of food and preparations, make people happy with cooking, deal with his family and get home to his "real family" protect women and find all blue. He made progress towards all goals this arc, so not a bad year for Sanji.
