For a while now my laptop has had an issue where when I open it up to random positions the colors flip out and everything gets a pink tint. It used to not be a problem because I could just move the screen a little and find a spot where the colors stayed normal, but now it seems to be getting worse.

Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it?

That is new... it seems your pc has turned to the pink side of the force.

I'm no expert but maybe you have a hardware problem there.

Have you tried to boot a live cd/pendrive just to see if that happens?

There would be some wires loose in your screen. I had that issue on my desktop. Had to change my monitor then. but it was like 4 years back. till now there would be something to fix it up.

And if I moved shake up my monitor, it got blue and then normal for like 20-50 mins.

Hardware problem. Like NapoleanKiller said, its the wires between the laptop screen and the computer itself. This connection literally snaps together, so if you're lucky, they're just loose and you can snap it back. If you're not lucky then the wires may be frayed or damaged and in need of replacement.

It's the same issue you get when you don't fully connect a computer to a powerpoint projector and you get a pinkish projection -> *wiggles the wire a little* "its all fixe- aw darn its pink agai- NO WAIT! STOP RIGHT THER- ... gggghghghahxch!!!"

Hope this helps.

Definitely seems to be that issue. Opened up the screen and started playing with that wire and right away the colors started bouncing around. I think its just loose because when I push it in towards the main part of the laptop the colors return to normal. Was really hoping I wouldn't have to go in there....xd

That happened to me, it was my motherboard and graphics card that died. Soon my screen split into 6 smaller screens and couldn't get past the "Windows is loading" screen.
