Pineapple teaches me wind

Now tell me,
-What do you know about wind in the ninja world?
-what are its strengths and weakneses?
- 2 jutsus from the manga/anime
- a character that uses wind (not Naruto )

 

[Luminousi]

Well, I know that wind is one of the five basic elemental releases, it's also called Futon. It's usually formed by making chakra as sharp and skinny as possible.
It's strong in mid-range combat. It is a natural insulator of lightning so it's strong against it. It is weak against fire release because wind fuels the fire. If you used combined with fire or water it can make the fire or water jutsu more powerful.
Two Jutsus: Wind Release: Divine Wind. The Sickle Weasel Technique; used by Temari.
A character that uses Wind Release is Temari.

 

[Pineapple]

*Hands you a leaf*
Try to focus wind chakra directly into your hand. Then, manipulate your chakra so that it is like you said, sharp and thin. Then, attempt to cut the leaf.

 

[Luminousi]

*Takes the leaf, and inhales deeply focusing wind chakra from his closet chakra point into the leaf. It shreds slightly on the base and edges.*
Woah.

 

[Pineapple]

Good, now, try to finish cutting the whole leaf

 

[Luminousi]

Phew. *Focuses his wind chakra into his hand, cutting the leaf into small pieces.*

 

[Pineapple]

Alright, from now on, you just have to cut the leaf in half. Now's the fun part.
*hands you a bag of leaves*

Yaaay! *Sits cross legged with the bag in front of him. One by one he takes a leave out and focuses as much wind chakra as he can through his hand and onto the leaf cutting it in half. Occasionally he'll take the severed leaf and sticks it into his mouth to suck on. On the last one he throws it up, catches, it and cuts it in half with wind chakra.* That was fun Sempai!

good, now that you know how to use wind chakra, try to move this sand over here, using wind chakra to "pick" it up. Try to clump it together, and hit the tree behind you

 

[Luminousi]

*Takes a big breath and begins to channel wind chakra near the sand. He extends his wind chakra and tries to surround the sand with it. The first try is unsuccessful whereas on the second try he manages to get it up into the air. He then uses more wind chakra to push the clump of sand at the tree at a moderate speed.* Woah. *He laughs as the sand hits off the tree and gets all over him.*

Description: The user creates a gust of wind that layers an area in loose sand and dust. Doing so also acts as a sandblaster on the surrounding area. This layer of sand that accumulates on the trees during this technique makes it difficult for others to get a good footing. The initial gust can also temporarily blind opponents by lodging sand in their eyes

*He chuckles and grins at this. To maintain focus he sits cross-legged on the ground and closes his eyes. He slowly takes his wind chakra and focuses it together into one spot. Then very slowly but, surely he spreads it evenly across into a rectangle shape. He uses more wind chakra to solidify it and smiles happily at what he achieved.* Is this right Sempai?

*throws kunia*
Good. Now, what would happen if i threw a kunia with an expolsive tag?

 

[Luminousi]

I think it would the explosion be contained by the barrier or would it destroy the barrier.

 

[Pineapple]

Well, the explosiveness is like fire in this case so...

 

[Luminousi]

So it would become a firewall because wind fuels fire!

Yes, but it would backfire on you, because fire>wind.

Description: User creates a wall of spinning wind in front of him that is used to push back weapons thrown towards him. It can also be used against taijutsu close range attacks, but the wall can be pushed back with a stronger wind jutsu or if a smoke bomb or explosive tag touches the spinning wind they will automatically get activated because of the sharpness of the wind element, damaging the user also.

This next jutsu can only be used in the air. when in the air, you want to move one way, blow the other way. Have fun! Remember that you're blowing air, to move around

I see what your saying Sempai! *Strolls over to a tree climbing it quickly. He then proceeding to jump off of the top of tree in the direction of another tree. While flying through the air he begins to form wind chakra in his mouth. Last second before he hits the tree he releases the wind chakra in a stream of wind to his left therefore changing his direction and then landing softly on his feet in front of you. He smiles goofily.* Is that right Sempai?

Description: This technique allows the user to change direction in mid-air at high speeds by simply blowing wind out their mouth. The user can also use this technique by blowing it at the ground and causing a dust cloud to rise, concealing the users location and movement.
