Pikachu's Attention

So after getting the latest ORAS Pokemon game I have come to realize something:
Pikachu surely gets a lot of attention for being a crappy Pokemon... It's sad but true, I mean come on "Cosplay Pikachu" wtf seriously?!?!?! At this point I believe they would give Pikachu a Mega Evolution ugh!

why r u surprised? this is the charecter that won an award for being one of the most noticabul charecters of all time, he has appeared in almost every pokemon ep to date...and your surprised that he gets attention...btw pikachu is the best

Sure he's great on the anime, but in the Pokemon games it sucks... It's only showed up on every episode because it's the starter Pokemon of the MC... The stats are horrendous without any items to improve it or nutrients to upgrade it

IMO no pokemon is bad/crappy. It can all be used well if you build a team around it. I've seen Pikachu sweeps before I want flygon to get a mega but from what I heard, gamefreak couldn't think of a design of that pokemon (rumor). xD

Imo it really isn't... It's other evolutions barely get any attention and I honestly believe they would go so far as to give Pikachu a mega evolution even though it's a NFE

This is because anime is not equal to the game anime is much more dynamic than the game and it's rules are flexible which is good, game is just number crunching.
I remember only viable pikachu in the meta was light ball Pikachu in the NFE tier, but that isn't so in the anime because anime is much more dynamic.

I love Pikachu. It repersents weak Pokemon as strong ones. Just like Rock Lee.
