So all the pieces have connected aye. The big 3's steps towards peace are now being connected here.
Big 3 Events in the shinobi-verse/Naruto-verse that lead to the peace, focused on the big 3 of the manga : Naruto/Hashiram/Rikudou.
- Rikudou : Made the shinobi sect so that one day there will be peace. Shinobi sect. from that context started out as an self-defense teaching. So Rikudou starts the shinobi sect, for peace in the future.
- Hashirama: Made the village system so that one day all shinobi can unite together.
- Naruto: The bridge that connects the accomplishments of the previous 2 together. And possibly leads to a peace that would last for some time. Unlike the peace of Hashirama and Rikudou, that only lasted while they were alive.
Lol, Pieces have connected. This I believe from Kishimoto's point of view means, that peace is a gradual thing. You simply cannot be in a hurry to achieve it nor can you force it instantly.
Plus, notice how Hashirama knew that even though they were at peace at his time.. it wouldn't last. Same can most likely be said for Rikudou, that he knew his peace wasn't gonna last.
