Given all of the tragedies (but also all the benefits) that the Otsutsuki lineage has had, which branch would you choose to be if you had an option (w/ certain conditions for some options):
1. Otsutsuki clan (the ones that went with Hamura to the moon)
2. Uchiha Clan (before Konoha's founding or after it? You choose)
3. Senju Clan (before Konoha's founding or after it? You choose)
4. Hyuuga clan
5. Uzumaki Clan
6. Kaguya Clan
Conditions/Reminders:
1. You can not be any of the main Otsutsukis (Kaguya ,Hagoromo, Hamura, Indra, Ashura, Toneri) or a transmigrant or a jinchuuriki . Basically, you just keep the same identity you have in real life, but your surname is that of one of these clans and you have the genetic traits of these clans. You are still allowed to power yourself up via training and stealing any DNA or eyes necessary.
2. All canonical tragedies and conflicts will still happen at some point. Therefore the Otsutsuki and Hyuuga clans are still divided into main and branch houses and the Otsutsuki still has their civil war. They also have to give up their eyes to the tenseigan altar. Indra/Ashura still start the centuries long war where a kid could be killed as young as 7 (that you have to take part in if you choose to be Uchiha or Senju pre-Konoha's founding). The Uchiha massacre still happens eventually. The Uzumaki clan still gets wiped out and their remaining survivors still have to spread around the world. The Senju clan still dies out or disappears or whatever happened to them. Finally, the Kaguya clan still gets wiped out by Kirigakure.
Given these events and conditions, which do you chose? Remember, this choice is not just about power potential, but also about the quality of life.
Personally, I would choose the Hyuuga in terms of quality of life because they are the only ones that weren't destroyed. The Otsutsuki killed each other off in a civil war (leaving Toneri as the sole survivor). The Uchiha had to fight in a senseless war started by two brothers where kids could die at 7 and they eventually got unjustly massacred. The Senju had to fight in the same war and then they just up and vanished. The Uzumaki was wiped out and their village was destroyed. The Kaguya clan was barbaric and liked to fight each other to the death for fun. They were also wiped out. The Hyuuga has that terrible branch system, but at least they are alive.
In terms of power I chose the Uchiha or the Otsutsuki because I could awaken powerful dojutsus with by experiencing pain and stealing eyes/DNA.
