I have heard some people say that they don't like the idea of Naruto becoming hokage because he is a "carbon copy of Minato" in terms of appearance.

To these people, I say: You are an idiot and I hope you don't get involved in politics (or vote).

The true measure of a good political leader is his/her capability to solve the problems of the area he/she presides over and the ability to prevent other problems from happening. It is the ability to keep society running smoothly and peacefully.

Physical appearance has nothing at all to do with these abilities. It is fine if you don't want Naruto to be hokage because you don't like his ideology or if you simply doubt his capacity to keep society running smoothly. That is a fine and legitimate reason to not like a candidate for a position.

Judging a candidate by looks or by genetics however, is just stupid!

Let's say that there is a nation leader named Joe.

Joe may run the country as a democracy.

Joe may have a son that looks just like him named Bob.

Bob may become the leader some day and turn the country into a communist nation!

The facts that Joe is Bob's dad and that Bob looks just like Joe has nothing at all to do with their respective styles of running the nation!

If you spout some crap about "the design not being original" then you forget that:

Minato is Naruto's father!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kids often times do look like their parents. If you say Naruto is identical to Minato, you need to get your eyes checked!

Who doesn't want Naruto as Hokage? Isn't that something we've all been waiting for?

Naruto WILL become Hokage. He has always been saying this Hokage stuff since the earliest chapters. Can't believe there is even a discussion the spot is Naruto's after the war is over.

I can never imagine Shadow getting emotional over this stuff, unless Maria is involved.

No one wants a Fourth Hokage clone; this is why Le Sauce should be Hokage and not Noodles.

Naruto has whiskers, is shorter and has a more blocky shaped head when his head band is on where as Minato's is less blocky with his head band. Naruto's clothing choice is generally different. Naruto was stated to have inherited Kushina's face.

You need to get your eyes checked.

1. He is not identical to Minato and he is not genetically a clone.

2. His policies may be different from Minato's.

You are one of the people who should not go into politics.

Naruto looks nothing like Minato, he only has the same eye colour and hair colour. His skin is darker than his, he has Kushina's face and wisker-like marks... Some people fail hardcore.

The fact that the show is named Naruto, I'm sure we all know that Naruto is going to become Hokage. Besides, the fact that Naruto and his father are "identical" have nothing to do with politics.
