You need to not let your effects clash so much with your coloured characters.

why did you render it......if it was a line art you could put a bg but in a manga page like that you can just color the bg that is there

when it comes to ground and stuff i like to go find a ground texture layer and blend it in

ya its like my third coloring so im just getting started but it take alot of time like this one in particular took like 4 hrs and i know it could be done quicker but im still a noob
