Photoshop was working fine for me ever since i got it like 1 1/2 years ago. But this morning i was editing something and tried saving it as a .jpeg but everything just froze. My computer worked fine it was just photoshop. I exited it using task manager and tried again but I still have the same problem... any suggestions?

Whenever i go to save it freezes.. very frustrating

Sounds like something messed up your installation at some point, can you reinstall it?

It's not rare for software to break at random times .-. Could've been a conflict with some other program.
It never hurts to reinstall.

Try reset/deleting temp files and if you sure you did not mess up with system files I think it's better to reinstall it.

Maybe try this..
go to
C:\Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5\Adobe Photoshop CS5 Settings\
delete the Adobe Photoshop X64 CS6 Prefs file from there and restart photoshop...
