Confused why its necessary to post other images for authenticity when the first image has NB proof itself ??

I really want to suggest you to make amendments in this rule for further contest. This is a new rule and I don't think its perfect.

its really don't make any sense.

We used to submit one pic and the pic should have NB proof. (old rule)

And I think this new rule is added because
1) some people don't wanted to have NB proof in their main Pic,
2) some times its hard to insert NB proof in a pic.

And I think the most important point is that if user has a proof of NB in his image, it should qualify.

If he is not putting NB proof in his main pic, he/she has to submit other pics to ensure that the pic was taken by him/her self for NB.
but if the main pic itself has NB proof, I don't see any other reason to submit more pics.

I hope others must be agree with me.

I agree. I think it's logical to think that the two extra pics for proof (with "NB" in them) should be a rule in accordance to not having the NB mark in the main/participating pic only, while if the contestant has NB proof/mark in their main pic, that should be enough.

Like in the art contest, they don't have to post several "angles" or pics of their drawing as long as they can prove its theirs if necessary/questioned by the contest holder.

This contest turnt to bullshit as well, in the end it all boils down on whos more popular in a certain sub-community or within the contest and has more awards. No point in participating at all if you don't meet one of those terms. Lol

If you're talking about this month's contest then you're wrong my friend xd If you're going to judge primarily on what looks more tasty, then it should have been a closer one, but here style, quality, creativity and other things goes into equation too, and obviously the old time veterans of this contest have racked up more experience when it comes to pulling off the perfect pics Lol In my opinion, there's two clear winners this month. The battle for 3rd place should have been more evened up though perhaps.

Existing rule ? common its just so foolish to submit extra 2 pics for a photo which has already NB proof.
Note: Em not against regarding submitting extra pics for a photo which dont have NB proof.

btw just saw these line:

You can enter with one photo which will proceed to the voting stage however you have to take another two or three with NB proof on them. The other photos should be similar to the main one, just taken from a different angle as well as with addition of the NB proof.

I cannot go against a rule that's been established until the rule has been changed. I'm simply working within the parameters of the said rule. The current rules state that you must submit one image that will proceed to voting, with 2 or 3 other images that have the "NB proof" on them; it did not say that you must enter with one that has NB proof on it. I understand your point and a workaround is being developed ATM that may see an amendment in the existing rule. However, until that amendment is made, I cannot accept something that doesn't follow the said rule.

@Bold:

It simply means that you're allowed to enter with one picture as your submission picture that will proceed to voting(this picture doesn't have to have the NB proof on it), but your main picture must be supported with two/three images that are taken from a different angle that include NB proof on it.

Note: this is in the discussion stage ATM.

This post is too salty for my cupcakes.

I wanted to ignore this but since I wanted to invite more participants , I thought this is not a good thing to read by them specially the new members of NB.



DEAR Future participants let me clear this .This contest is about our passion for photography.It Was never about who's popular on this and on that.its about how well you captured your photos based on the Theme given by the host.

When this contest opened I am still a newbie on NB.
Looking back how I made my past entries. I can proudly say that I deserved all the medals I've won.

I didn't made all of those photos by just snapping my fingers.
I Remembered being ridiculously glared by people when I'm making my set of photoS outside. From the Pisa tower to the Bridge .

Remembered the time I cut the papers, colored the rice, cracking my neck to get the best angle. Moving things on room , the lights,printing Konoha pictures, using my accessories and trying to smoke that cigarette and few more curious glare from the local people. It was never easy.


If I'm somewhat popular on Photm my photos speaked for me to the voters and to the onLookers.

if you wanted to win , be more creative. If you wanted to get recognize then work for it. Don't speak too much and let your photo speak for you. It was hard to look on something when your echo is bouncing everywhere.

And I understand all too well where you're coming from and that what you say comes from within. This is how I've felt it several times over when the FF community has had its share amount of whiners and complainers going around thrashing medal winners up through the years, me included. Listen to Alice, she knows what she's talking about.

It's not master chef dude, it's photography of the month so stop bίtching.

As for the new rule I don't get why is everybody so confused about it.
Members where complaining about having to add the NB proof so that parameter was eliminated.
I wouldn't like to see this rule being add again.
