Hi guys, I bought a Huawei Honor Holly like 4 days ago and I started playing some games. I noticed that the temperature of the CPU occasionally reaches about 50 degree Celsius. Is this normal?

Replace the battery. If that doesn't fix it then there is a problem with the Motherboard.

It is normal for cheap china phone to heat at GPU intensive tasks.
You should not buy a cheap china phone in the first place if you were into gaming or else you will have to deal with these issues. More heat=battery degradation.

Temperature factor involve certain aspects, specifically ambient temperature, I had the huawei y635 and it ranged to 57 under mid load, its not really odd for a phone to show these temps since most qualcomms are cabaple of handling high temps due to their manufacturing technology and architecture, 50 is not really damaging unless the temp is consistent (as you mentioned, only while gaming those temps are achieved) so no long term degradation would be noticeable, you'll be fine, don't worry about it.

I did checked the price before posting it. Now I have checked the processor. It has same MTK processor as my phone. The brand here does not matter. It is mostly same internals with few changes and different body design just like all other local and Chinese branded phones at that price range.
