On Full metal alchemist they say the stone lets you bypass the law of equivalent exchange but if you think about it. The stone is made up of tonnes of human sacrifices= so when you use it, you're using the law of equivalent exchange!

It still let's the caster avoid the toll of equivalent exchange by as you said sacrificing another. In Alchemy the rule of equivalent exchange always exists and always has to be met regardless, the stone just allows the user to not be effected by the rule, it doesn't actually negate the rule.
