Personality:
Phil Coulson is a very calm and collective guy. He approaches every situation with maturity and open minded. He hates when people are subjective and careless. Phil is a very social guy and people that meet him seems to like him. At times, he's very sarcastic but in a very respectful way. Phil believes in loyalty and putting his village first. He's a hard worker and a has a neck for history. Many call him the historian mainly because he ties everything in to some past event. He loves going to the library and enhancing his intelligence, whether it's on ninjutsu history or learning the history of other villages. Another trait that stands out is his perfectionist attitude. Growing up, he always wanted to be perfect at everything he does. In training, he wanted to perfect every jutsu he learned or perfect his mental and emotional state. What does that mean to Phil? It means to never let it bother him in tough situations so that way he can stay focused in battle or whatever he does. Phil have seen many lose their lives because they let the opponents get into their heads and take advantage of it. Phil also have great leadership skills that he learned from his father.
Phil spends a lot of his time in the gym working out. He loves being in shape and he needs to due to his age. Coulson does a lot of physical training and mental. On spare time, he would go down to the river and meditate, bringing peace to his mind. Being in the gym also helps relieve any type of stress he have. This allows him to get along better with people.

Raiton: He can execute all raiton jutsu at a very fast speed and has great knowledge of the element.
Dark release: Phil Coulson is a master of the Dark release Kg. His skills with it is unmatched by any other. He is able to perform Dark release justus very easily.

Hidden Rain's signature weapon. Umbrella's are shown to be used frquently by Rain ninja in anime/manga.
•Senbon Shower: releases a hailing "shower" of senbon. It cannot be dodged by moving away since the needles cover a wide area in all directions, controlled by chakra. Although the needles are said to be able to pierce a five millimetre thick steel sheet, they can still be blocked by a powerful enough shield. Medical ninja can dip their senbon with poison to increase their lethality.

History:
Phil Coulson was born in Kirigakure during the 2nd great ninja war. His father was a Jounin leveled shinobi in Kirigakure. His father possed the Dark Release and Phil got it from him. Phils father died during the war and he was left father less for the rest of his life. Phils mother wanted to get away from the war so she decided to travel around with Phil until they find somewhere where they can stay without being any part of the war. They travelled around for a very long time, and while doing so, Phil trained hard everyday so can be strong enough to protect his mother.
