Welp, Naruto has officially ended, so I thought I'd give my last farewell to this series (atleast for now).
*takes a deep breath*
*tries not to cry*
Okay, I didn't cry.
>_>
I first started watching Naruto around the Chuunin Exams arc. I found the movements and the whole universe itself amazing, and this is exactly what piqued my interest in this series.
When I heard Naruto was in a comic format, I immediately started reading it since I was already captivated by the anime, and I really liked comics at that age. And of course, since it was in Japanese format, I was confused on how to read it at first. xD
But as I grew and the series did as well, During my time reading the manga (and also trying to fit in watching the anime) I felt as if there was more to this series than just Jutsu's, really cool characters and what were once amazing fight scenes...
And of course, like any other series, No matter how much you like it, there will be cons, no matter what. Naruto has had alot of cons as it did pros, But no matter how you look at it, it's still a series you are either reading or watching, or both. But this would never once stop my liking for the series that helped develop my life. I would've stopped reading it for the fights (since they aren't as good as they once were), but what kept me holding on to the series wasn't the Jutsu's or the fight scenes, it was the characters, especially the title character himself, Naruto Uzumaki.
Naruto himself has taught me many important things I should take into account in life, cherishing my friends, toughing out any situation no matter how harsh it is in my vision and of course (the usual), never giving up or going back on my word, because that's my ninja way
Shortly after he became my favorite character, I've idolized him ever since, and always took every single thing he would do or say into account, and because I did that, I am now living a peaceful life. But it wasn't just Naruto that I favored, characters like Itachi taught me that no matter how much you love someone, when it's taken away from you, you can't get it back unless you really wish for it.
But more so, some of the characters have at least 1-2 traits I share.
(I'm getting a little sentimental here, but bear with me. xD
Knowing that the Naruto Manga has ended puts a huge hole in my heart, I will admit that even though I read and watched Naruto for about 8-9 years, it definitely had alot of cons in the story I must admit I was enraged at some of the events in the series (Kakashi's sudden Susano'o power-up being one of them. >_>), which made me want to stop reading it, but what pushed me forward was the hidden message(s) Kishimoto left in the whole series, that's what filled the void in me. Not many of you may think of this series the way I do (and I kind of hope you don't. xD), but think about the positives in the series, no matter how slim the chances of finding them may be.
The sentimentality in this series was also quite superb, even though this is a series about action and fighting, the amount of sentimentality and tragic events blended into this series quite well. I'll admit I cried at least 1-20 times while watching and reading the story unravel.
Dem feels. ;_;
And of course, this doesn't mean a full farewell to the whole series itself, we still have The Last movie, the potential Part 3, and many other things joining the Naruto New Era Project.
Anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this series as much as I did, It was quite an enjoyable ride for me, and now we are in the 15th year of the amazing series about the hyperactive ninja who left on a tragic but heroic journey, to become the greatest of them all (or so, he already did). Naruto became a huge part of my life and I didn't want to give a half-hearted farewell to it. Naruto will forever be a series that will be irreplacable and live on in my heart, and maybe yours too.
And a HUGE thank you to Masashi Kishimoto for these amazing 15 years!
Thanks for reading. ^^
