Pervy Sage using Rasengan while he trained the Ame Orphan?

When I was watching Shippuden ep. 253 tpday, I noticed something interesting: In the flashback where iraiya was training the Ame Orphans, he is shown using a Rasengan at 16:15 but I didn't see a Rasengan in the corresponding chapter. 511.

I'm not sure where but I thought some manga chapter indicated that the Ame Orphans were taught before Pervy Sage taught Minato. The only explanation I can think is that maybe a few months after he started training the orphans. Pervy Sage started training Minato. However, that would mean that unless he took them to where he started training Minato or Minato arrived to where Jiraiya was training the orphans and I thought Jiraiya didn't leave them until 3 years after he started training them (the same length of time that it took for Minato to develop the Rasengan).

While ch. 511 did show the flashback, it could be that the Rasengan scene was a filler part.
