Personality wise are Shikamaru and Choji supposed to represent Stoners?

Both characters enjoyed leisure rather than hard work for most of their lives, if you think of the narutoverse in more of a real life setting personality wise they would be stoners imo. Shikamaru is intelligent. Choji eats alot but is a good person

I definitely relate to Shikimaru's laziness. Being a stoner myself, I see Shikimaru as one of my top 3 favorite characters just because I can understand his laziness and respect his intelligence. Really, I see a lot myself a lot in Shikimaru, being called lazy by everyone meanwhile being able to showcase superior intellect when given the opportunity.

But choji? He's just a fattie!
