He needed a jinchiiruki to host kurama, and Uzumakis are the best fit for the job.
Therefore Madara never met Mito.

nooooo... you are definitely confused. because it was told in manga that "hashirma married mito at the time of alliance of senju clan and uzumaki clan when hidden leaf was formed ".so madara met mito at that time or may be fell in love with her..!!!(before)

as of your concern mito was of uzumaki clan before married to hashirama. and as of my concern there is no issues between uzumaki clan and uchia clan..

mito nad hashirama had to marry each other where madara can't tell truth to his friend and
mito cant betyray her clan soo......

Well recent events of the manga flashbacks never showed any indication of mito.
Kishi could have changed his mind again just like how Madara never actually stole izunas eyes.
