It's a manga fact that Madara had PS before the Rinnegan, and highly debatable that EMS Sasuke did as well.

It just takes so much chakra, that the MS is unable to support it alone (or the user does not have the eye longevity to master Susano'o before going blind) so Rikudou Chakra gave it the boost.

i wouldn't say it is highly debatable, since the highest form of Susano'o Sasuke was actually seen using was the biped version of the regular Susano'o before getting chakra from Hagoromo. And the closeup on Sasuke as he began to launch an offensive against some of Madara's CTs pretty much implies it even more.

Seeing as though Madara's clones could use the same version and that the recent DB says Madara is the only Uchiha who actually awakened a PS, i would argue that it took a lot more power than Sasuke had at the time to even be able to muster up an unstabilized PS.

Because it takes a lot of chakra/potency of chakra to make PS. EMS grants that boost in chakra/potency of chakra to get PS, Kakshi/Obito didn't have EMS so rikudou chakra became the fuel to form and stabilize their PS.

Sasuke did have PS before Rinnegan he and Madara did the same to kyuubi Madara showed no other form besides that and lower. And edo Madara had Ashura and indra chakra and only showed "PS" as edo.

But still we cant assump that Kakashi PS need Rikudou senjutsu to be manifest because we doesnt know the basis of it or get any base point for that speculation unless Kakashi said "Im only can menifest/create PS because of Rikudou senjutsu not just Rikudou chakra". What I mean here Obito Rikudou chakra have senjutsu in it. But no where it stated in manga that Kakshi PS need senjutsu. It just happen that Obito have Rikudou senjutsu inside his chakra and Kakashi get that power also.

Technically Obito never performed susanoo, and Kakashi's eye power increase was accredited to "rikudou's power". Believe power and chakra are the same or relative. Not sure if Viz says different.

You can say Hagoromo's chakra has propertiesof natural energy or even senjutsu, but I see nothing proving it to not be chakra.... That being said, I have said my words.
