First of all he went from rock to rock because promptly flying off would be difficult with all that rubble falling, seeing that a susanoo is rather big.
Then, how do you glide upwards??

Even more, Sasuke had wings and could fly when he had the cursemark...this will just be an extension of that ability.
Besides, he would be able to float and fly just by virtue of the Rinnegan he possesses-Nagato(Pein) could, Hagoromo could, Madara can.
It's definitely flight

Not sure about flying (like a bird) but he can maintain serious air time with a leap, and I guess his wings allow him to glide. Honestly what is the difference lol. It does not change the consequences of his actions.

I agree. This is the same as those claiming CS-V2 hebi sasuke can fly when all he can do is glide. If sasuke's susano'o could fly he wouldn't be jumping from rock to rock, he'd be slashing straight through... Clearing it's gliding.

OT: Sasuke is either using Rinnegan techs to mess with gravity and propel himself or is doing a glide/Shunshin combo, it looks like. I'm not convinced it is legit flight just yet.
