He also has mid-long range offensive and defensive attacks harder than steel, Odama rasengan stated to hollow a mountain. Paralysing frog song or long range frog genjutsu. The precognitive capacity you say he may lack, he gains it with perfect Sage mode when you know that Sage Mode chakra running through your body gives you even better sensing abilities than Naruto in KCM, capable to dodge 3Raikage's nukinite at the last second. You're the one underestimating Jiraya here. Akatsuki stands no chance U_U

Please use english names bro, no clue what Yomi Numa is...However Goemon is not melting Iron sand, so he just basically needs to place it in front oh him, not to mention he can basically fly...As he has a metallic object's all throughout his body, so can levitate/fly as he pleases..
Odama Rasengan requires him to come close to the Akatsuki and that speed feat he used against Pain, was when he had a wall to gain momentum off of...He doesn't have that in most situations...So most can either move away from the attack or end him before he gets there, Sasori personally has that chord and flame thrower that can halt him from getting close..
Although yeah i guess perfect SM is a ***** to fight against, mostly because of that durability...However normal SM jiraiya gets beat by most Akatsuki ._. and is overrated as hell anyways
What nonsense am I reading? SM jiraiya now immune to genjutsu? Wtf? All hope for this thread just died. I don't know why jiraiya is being wanked so much like he's top 10. He's still beneath orochimaru. Just because he showcased a bunch of large jutsu that killed no one, people think he's so strong.
You obviously have no idea how genjutsu works. Or how to break it for that matter. A new influx of chakra into your system breaks any genjutsu, which is called Kai. Shima and Fukasaku are always channeling Natural Energy into Jiraiya, which is the same as Kai. He is immune to any genjutsu while in Sennin Mode.
I'm not sure which Iron Sand Technique you're referring to here. IS: World Method? IS: Drizzle? Or IS: Gathering Assault?

So Iron Sand: World Method:

I gather that this was the sound-breaking technique you were talking about? But in the above panel, we saw that the Iron sand does take a moment or two to take actually fire out at Sakura and Chiyo, but Chiyo was actually able to dodge that technique. In this situation, Jiraiya's in Sage Mode with two other SM users on his shoulder. His speed and reaction times are boosted, so he could dodge that..
However, he could use a few technique to stall or block IS: World Method while the magnetic fields are merging together.
1.) The first one is Senpō: Kawazu Naki:

This technique holds its target within a barrier of sound for a short time. It gave Naruto an opening to directly attack Pain, this would also give Jiraiya an opening to attack Sasori; using variations in his Needle Jizo techniques, or his longer range Fire Style attacks. It most definitely will not be a sure counter against Sasori, but it keeps the fight off-balanced.
2.) The second counter is Ranjishigami no Jutsu:

Looking at the description:
This technique uses chakra to temporarily enhance the head's metabolism and manipulate the hair that grows longer as a result of it. Senpo: Goemon would require Sasori to jump to avoid the heat, but this also makes him a vulnerable target to Needle Jizo, Ranjishigami no Jutsu, Zessenzan, or any of their long range elemental attacks. Sasori's main body will be kept under so much pressure in this fight, he won't have time to react to Jiraiya's successive assaults.
Fact of the matter is, Jiraiya's a much more fast paced fighter than Chiyo or Sakura, and Shima and Fukasaku are with him. Sasori really doesn't stand much of a chance.
I think your counter will involve Akahigi: Hyakki no Sōen, yes? ;O Those puppets get crushed by Ranjishigami no Jutsu, or melted by Senpo: Goemon, or shot down at rapid speeds by Senpō: Kebari Senbon. Jiraiya's arsenal is perfect for long range counters.
Kakashi was able to intercept Gian because of his Pre-cog and even then he barely made it...Most people don't have pre-cog
If he's traveling at such speeds, then how is he going to even attack?
I know I gave Jiraiya vs Sasori a lot more attention than the others, but if you want I can go in-depth on Deidara and Kakuzu too. (Bear in mind that I think Jiraiya loses to Itachi and Kisame, so I'm not going past that point)
