They formed 9 orbs in the air, they are also pretty big as seen when they are scaled with the background. This may be a small foreshadowing to what Sasuke aims to use this power to do. We know that the Perfect Susano'o is huge, roughly the same size of the Bijuu's, if not bigger. Sasuke may use a formation to attack Naruto that looks a lot like the Juubi Jin tranformation. As in the 9 Cores containing the Bijuu around his Perfect Susano'o. (Like the black orbs of the Juubi Jin.) He may also use the Bijuu's power against their will in a form of cannons or alike. (Which may be why he contained them, as he cannot focus on controlling them all at the same time while fighting Naruto constantly.)

I imagine a PS looking a bit like Kakuzu when he is has his masks exposed. The armored PS will have each of the nine Bijuu form a hard point in its armor that can shoot beast bombs while its arms still swing swords and its ribcage (and bijuu hardpoints) form a barrier keeping emosuke safe.
