Itachi uses tsukuyomi, roughly a second in the real world is 3 days in tsukuyomi world. So even if perfect jins can break out of tsukuyomi its would be too late because it takes a couple of seconds for bijuu to wake their host. In theory Itachi negs with tsukuyomi.

I little bias don't you think? Yata Mirror is an amazing defence, but so is Gaara's sand. Conidering Yata only shields in one direction it's going to be much easier for Gaara get around Itachi's defense than it is the other way around.
