Water slows his sand down, which is definitely something.

Kisame will create an ocean with Suiton: Dai Bakusui Shōha, which will restrict Gaara's ability to manipulate his sand, forcing him into a v2 state, as both can and will use long range techniques to no avail.

In v2, he is most likely going to try and CQC, if he tries that, he is going to get absolutely wrecked.
Kisame possses immense strength and speed, plus his Taijutsu is far superior, being able to fight with a 6 gates guy.
Add that to the fact that Samehada will absorb any chakra that v2 Gaara tries to attack with, in this case his body.


Next Gaara will go full Bijuu mode in this lake, Kisame's reply will be a Water dome. Gaara and Shukaku will not only be drowning underwater, they will be unable to move and extremely vulnerable to the fused Kisame and Samehada.


Kisame can just attack them with sharks or come in and absorb their chakra to his hears content, whilst they drown. As they can never escape it
If you think that Water dome won't be able to cover all of Shukaku, this shows the size of a summon inside the dome. Something which should roughly be the same size as the Ichibi.

Even if they try to fire a TBB at Kisame somehow, whilst drowning Kisame will just use Great Shark Bullet technique, which will absorb the TBB and kill Gaara.

Are you guys forgetting Samehadas limit of 6 tails worth of Biju chakra? Are you guys forgetting that Gaara alone has biju level chakra? Are you guys forgetting Shukaku is a biju, thus has said amount of chakra? Combine the two, and that's a lot more then what Samehada can handle.

The amount of sand coming at Kisame would simply be way too overwhelming. That would be [

Show me a scan where it says 6 tails worth of Bijuu chakra is its limit?

Also what does that mean for Shukaku, he only has one tail, if Kisame absorbs that much chakra from Gaara whilst in the Water Dome, which I might add is humongous, would Gaara not revert back to v2 or even base form?

That would leave Gaara drowning and at the mercy of Kisame's 1000 sharks, or even him just grabbing him, which would take almost all of his and shukaku's chakra.
