There is no evidence of perfection in this world
It is simply an ideal...
A word some use to describe moments of extreme happiness or joy
Something men and women alike strive for in vain
Because perfection is getting rid of all the quirks that make you who you are
So in a way, perfection, in itself, is an imperfection
If changing yourself is perfection, then it is not truly worth it.
If one day asking whose face is staring at you through a mirror is what people strive for, fine.
Just do not call it perfection.
It is abandonment and cowardice.
Abandonment because you have separated you from yourself.
Cowardice because you abandoned who you were because of the fear of nonacceptance in the world
"Perfection" is not true perfection.
True perfection is your own imperfections.....
So that was my second attempt at a poem. lol I was sitting in class today with nothing to do and five minutes into the class I thought to myself......f*ck this and I just took out my paper and pen and made poetry like crazy. I made about 8 different poems some better than the others. anyway tell me what you think.
