The books are good but the film was terrible... "DON'T SHOOT THE HERO!!!!" Well, f**knuts don't walk infront of the archery targets...

The movie was total sh*t. But I love the books. I've read all 8 of them ( 5 Percy Jackson and the Olympians and 3 Heroes of Olympus ) I just finished with the Mark of Athena last night. It was awesome. Too bad we have to wait till fall 2013 for book 4

Tbh, the second book of HoO(Heroes of Olympus) was not good imo. The Mark of Athena then again fixed a lot. The open ending was a bit easy to guess (won't spoil here) if you read through most of the book, but it was nice nonetheless.

Don't click if you haven't read the Mark of Athena

I didn't find it that easy to guess. It was obvious that some of the heroes would have to go to Tartarus. But when annabeth fell, I thought she would sacrifice herself, it was a surprise to see her accepting Percy's decision so easily. I like the 2nd book more than the 1st though

I guess I just had some sort of hunch given that Percy wouldn't even give up annabel in the first place, but I was somewhat surprised to him going in with her though. ^^. Typical hero of the day stuff o_o

Roju, if you like the inheritance cycle and have a love/passion for anything greek/roman mythologically related, you'll love percy jackson as well.

I love the Percy Jackson series but personally, the movies came out terribly, the supposed 12 year olds suddenly aged 8 years *gasp*

Do you like greek mythology and an easy read with a pretty good story that doesn't take up much time? Yes.

I love this series! It's fun and easy to read. Time flies really fast and you won't even notice you're halfway through the book already! I liked it so much that I also read Rick Riordan's Kane Chronicles when I finished reading the Heroes of Olympus series. :D

I recommend these books to anyone interested in mythology, adventure, and not so sappy teen romance.

Well I am a fan of the Greek/Romans so this series of Percy Jackson really sparked my interest. I have read all the books, and am deciding to see the movie that came out Sea of Monsters. If any have seen it, can you perhaps give a overview of it.
