...should reread the manga. His "ignorance" is one of the reasons he is liked by so many people. It wouldnt fit his character to kiss Sakura.

Well he has an interest in Saradas wellbeing, since he wants to restore his clan and wants to do good in the name of his brother. When he said his feelings are connected with Sakura it was only to make Sarada happy...
