People who think Itachi gave Sasuke MS are idiots

Sasuke had a really tough battle to get it, but it was Itachi's plan to die and that way giving his MS.

Yea, he set up a fail safe so HIS OWN MS activates and castes amaterasu on Tobi.
But he did give Sasuke the MS, he chose to die by his hands, and so Sasuke was able to later activate the MS.
Yea i agree that he did not pass on all his abilities, but he did give him MS.

My thread was made in response to this:

Sasuke does not feel anything: guilt, regret, sorrow nothing. So how could he gain the MS through "feeling" the loss. Itachi actually sealed the amaratsu flames into sasuke's eyes thus giving him the power of the MS so technically he didn't really work hard for anything, he just got given it. :flaw:

do you see where I'm coming from now? I don't know. I just thought that this comment seemed ignorant

Also, out of all people I thought natssuu would be on my side

I don't think Sasuke was given MS. He activated MS during his battle with Killer Bee. He might have gotten the ability to use Amaterasu and Susanoo by Itachi, that I would say was given to him.

You have to use MS to use those two jutsu so the second his sharingan 1st saw madara's and Amaterasu activated automatically, that was MS but he did not get it from Itachi...he merely awakened it through his death..

anyway, but some people have it in their head that when Itachi tapped on Sasuke's head he transferred Mangekyou and all its techniques (Amaterasu, Susano'o) to Sasuke at that very moment.

They don't believe that Sasuke awoke his Mangekyou and it's various techniques (Amaterasu during killerB fight, Susano'o at kage meeting) on his own. They also think that his proficiency with Mangekyou was given to him and not acquired through battle experience and its resultant training. And that frustrates me because it's just another way for people to bash Sasuke

Yea, Itachi sealed his Amaterasu within Sasuke's left eye to kill Tobi/Madara. Sasuke's eye will begin to bleed and activate a Mangekyou resembling Itachi's. It is not his eyes just an ability. He initially awakens his own during the "Sasuke Vs. Killer Bee" fight.

Also something most people seem to forget is that Itachi never wanted anyone to learn the truth about him, especially Sasuke. So Itachi never really planned for his death to help Sasuke activate his mangekyou because if Sasuke had never learned the truth, he would have never felt the pain and loss that allowed him to activate his MS

Agreed, it was awakened after hearing the truth. I don´t get it why people believe power is handed to him, he worked his *** of during the timeskip and he just he´s a quick learner.
The Mangekyou wasn´t even voluntary.

Agreed. Itachi was all Sasuke cared about. He lived his life as an avenger so probably once he realized he had killed his best friend he obtained it. In order for Sasuke to transplant itachis eyes, he had to have ms or it wouldn't have worked. I think anyways. Lol

However in response to another recent post, he may have transfered the techniques but he wouldn´t be able to use them without activating his own Mangekyou, otherwise they would have still taken Itachi´s shape.
