Its not 3d -_- anime is 2d, and every now n then theres 3d. the 3d is usually, for giant mechanisms n whatnot. The flare is for effect purposes, which makes sense since its friggin chakra, c'mon guys, its the 1st time we've seen it, lets wait till we see it more before we start spewing the "im disappointed bs"
