war creates the illusion of peace by causing terror and fear to act out against the ones who have created war. But this also creates war because of built up oppression. war is nothing but a never ending cycle in the "war" for peace

We (men) fight other men for resources to make the best life for ourselves possible thereby drawing the most desireable women to us and guaranteeing our offspring success. People desire the peace that comes from completely defeating all enemies and becoming successful as a result of it not the peace that comes at the end of a lost war.

and this justifies people having terrible lifes? have u ever been in a country where there is war? have you ever seen a child 3 years old whos family was slaughtered in front of his eyes while he himself was taken a slasve and being abused his whole life? war has made many things progress thats for sure. however we live in a "modern" age now. how can we call ourselvves modern if there are still places where people live like in the medieval ages? we have the oportunity and potential to free our worl from all this avoidable suffering. it IS within mans nature thats sure( thats why i said there are very very few ways to obtain true peace) however standing out of this "curse" would be one big step to show that the human race is more then just animalistic creatures led by instincs.... besides i am willing to get rid of all the luxury i have if i could change the world by doing so. if by giving up my freedom and my character peace could be achieved i woul gladly do so...its only fair.

Okay kid listen. Places like the middle east are culturally doomed to ignorance and warfare. They follow their elders. Well stupid people get old too. Not as many as smart people but most. They will always treat their females, disabled, and young like shit because it is their culture. They will always war with other tribes because they have always warred with other tribes and all the old men have lost so many friends and family that they will never give up on their blood feuds. Hell when they ask Americans why they are there we say blood feud and they respect us more for it. Its not just the middle east either Africa, South Pacific, Italy, hell Las Angeles all have tribes and gangs killing each other over stupid stuff. It will always happen. May as well profit from it. And its not just luxuries. Like I said vehicles, radios, satellite phones, demolitions, all have been greatly improved by warfare. You know what else? Paramedics, fire fighters, policemen. Most of them have some military training. Who would you rather have working on you in the ER? The nerdy little girl that's read a lot of books? Or the 68 whiskey that patched up five or six bullet wounds and a dozen guys burned and torn up by shrapnel? The SWAT officer that's been training for a few months with other SWAT guys? Or the ex Marine that spent 9 months breaking down doors and hauling in insurgents? Who would you rather have prying you out of your mangled car? The proby volunteer whose had a few play sessions with the jaws of life? Or the ex infantry guy who has mastered the art of searching, breaking, entering, and anything else you can do to get through windows and walls?
Pretend you hate war all you want. Most of you play some video game or enjoy movies where people get shot stabbed or blown up. Hell if you enjoy any of the action scenes in Naruto you like war. Its hard wired into you.

Peace is just a word. The peace me and you may think of may not be the same and that is the reason why there won't be peace, because everybody has a different idea to "peace". One mans peace is another mans hate.

that's my personal view so yeah.
