People that want to live in anime ._.

I have a couple of friends that told me that they would prefer to live in an anime reality because real life is boring and in anime you can do impossible things, they wanted to date a certain character, or it was cooler. I told them that was really pathetic and reality is what you make of it. One of my other friends told me to tell them to kill themselves if the hate the world but I thought that was mean so I didn't tell them that. My boyfriend said they were stupid because not all anime have impossible things and he used slice of life anime for example.Most of the people who said they want to live in an anime world are around the ages of 21-25. Have you guys ever ran into people that want to be anime characters?

I haven't ran into people like that. Although I would like to have some powers but not enough to warrant living in an anime.

Its not impossible though, VR is near and its only getting better and more realist along with graphics, science, the universe, etc.
Its not stupid though, anything you think is logical or cool can be stupid so don't judge.

Eh, they have a point, fictional worlds can be much better than real life, but that's why they're fictional. We have to make the best of what we have. Tell your friends to write their own fictional stories, that actually takes your mind off reality imo, and it's pretty fun
