You know the Juubi, which thousands of shinobi can't take down right now? The Sage did it by himself. It's the greatest feat we've ever seen in Naruto.

Also, he created the MOON. It's the second greatest feat we've ever seen in Naruto. Jutsu of that scale isn't to be messed with.

Now some people argue, "But those are just legends!" No, they are not. The Gedo Mazo was extracted from the Moon, proving that SOMEBODY had put it there. Hmmmmm, I wonder who?

The Sage was technically the first shinobi. I'm saying that because he was the first to discover chakra and ninja techniques.

just a thought.... didnt the sage of six paths dislike fighting and war? if so why would he be the best at something he dislikes so much? he may have just had alot of chakra rather than being a "Great shinobi" because as of this point/time he has shown no great fighting skills or what he even looked like. for all we know, he could have been a monk with alot of chakra. lol just a thought to consider, idk why people say he was the best when it isnt supported by fact.
