Nagato betrayed them and died


Madara planned a lot but you must remember that Plot was also on his side half the time.

He would've been revived the same way. Obito would've gotten Defeated and Tnj'd by Naruto which would lead him to getting the beasts extracted leading to him being weakened and that leads to Black Zetsu taking over Him and reviving Madara. I laugh at all the people that say Madara was lucky.

Well he did get rid of the seal in his heart. And Black Zetsu only occupies half his body. If he was consumed entirely by black zetsu, I'd wager he wouldn't be able to fight it.

Obito when he cast the Juubi seal was only possessed by quarter of the black zetsu

The other half of the black zetsu is pinned down by Chojuro. I think it would be safe to say that Obito would have had a much tougher time if it was the complete Black Zetsu and not just part of him.
