OP: True enough, but people could argue that Obito awakened the 2 Tomoed Sharingan instantly. (Which I don't see how it'd negate him being given things but whatever, ya just know it's gonna happen)

uchihas in general gets one-shot killing jutsus by crying over dead people,that's why i dislike the MS abilities,people may say they train for it,yeah we know every jutsu gets better with practice,but the problem is that they skip the most important and most difficult part in having a jutsu:the creation of the jutsu or learning it which takes the most of the time and effort.
for the MS,EMS,rinnegan abilities that part is inexistant since these abilities are suddenly awakened in their eyes and can be used right away.

I think it depends on what that entails. I mean sure, Uchiha are emotional but what if the character was evil enough to not even care after doing those things? Since the Sharingan is awakened in both states through emotional trauma, it's possible that that wouldn't even awaken the MS.

IMO training is the only legit way to gain power.sacrificing people to gain sudden power-up is cheap and lame.
