People know and hype the 3rd raikage because of his hard skin, and true, he even took a rasenshuriken with some scratches.

But, look at this, madara took a rasenshuriken too, a giant one:

As you see, he doesn't have any serious 'injury', just some of the paper on his face is gone lol, even his clothes are alright.

For the people who are gonna say that maddy used his preta path:

Hashirama had him in his wood dragon, as you read, because of that he's unable to use the path of preta.

So, WHY is 3rd raikage constantly hyped about a thing that madara also can do (even better maybe)?
That's because his ability to tank things was the most impressive one, together with his strength. That's why people remember him for his hard skin, and not for his speed, because his hard skin was much more impressive.

But for madara, all of his abilities were impressive, his speed, strength, even his katon, that's why people won't remember him for one of his abilities, but for all the abilities he had, because all of them were highly impressive.

Pretty sure this is just another madara wank thread. I mean you didn't even bring up how the third raikage could only take on the eight tails beast bomb but madara tanked like 5? Or more, (via susano I believe), plus you forget he has hashirama's cells so his durability and body is increased vastly. I only count feats when the person is alive, Edo tensei is okay but it's pretty hax but eh.

anyway madara still got solo'd by Solo fodder king black zetsu, neg diff. No but really madara just got taken out badly, was a very bad way to "go". Implying he's gone anyway

Lol, 4th raikage grabbed sasuke when his arm was stretched, of course he couldn't inflict more damage, because the rest of his chidori couldn't reach raikage because he was holding him, the part that hit him, pierced him.

Though i'm not madara's fan but you are right... Madara did tank FRS and better than 3rd.. But NB will always be NB.. It's fact and they are still denying it.. Also 3rd never tanked TBB, people claiming that need to show evidence, 3rd had incredible speed to avoid TBB while fighting 8'o

his arm is bent meaning if he was strong enough and stretched it fully out it wouldve went through the raikage. . . but chidori isnt strong enough. . .. .he's not even touching his arm he's holding his sides for a liger bomb

Ofcourse madz > 3rd but comeone, don't overlook at things. maybe madara used deva path split seconds, or maybe he just regenerated back, remember when madara was completely wiped with his meteor as well, then he regenerated in seconds. But IDK, edo regeneration rate is very inconsistent

Whats funny is that you think madara actually tanked that RS. The manga focused on his rinnegan looking right at the approaching RS, insinuating that he absorbed it somehow, despite hashiramas thinking that he couldnt(we have already seen madara can absorb jutsu without preta).
