I'd still love Madara! You are very shallow if you think appearance is the only reason to like someone. I like Madara for a multitude of reasons:

1. I totally agree with the infinite tsukuyomi and Madara's ideology! The world is full of corruption and hierarchy amongst humans, and the infinite tsukuyomi would resolve it all!

2. Madara's power is amazingly epic! He destroyed the 5 kages, the 9 bijuus, Naruto, Sasuke, Bee, the shinobi alliance, Hashirama, Tobirama, Minato, Kakashi, Guy, etc... Madara put on a great show! I also love the specific attacks he has!

3. Madara actually accomplished his goal! He planned everything out, put in the effort and actually casted the infinite tsukuyomi! That shows intelligence, diligence, perseverance, strength (both in body and mind), faith and it is the true mark of a great antagonist!

4. Madara's speeches were epic!

5. Rinnegan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Etc...

Yes, power is like money. However, money itself is not superficial. It is only if you like someone solely because of their money that it is superficial. I stated that I liked Madara's ideology, speeches and qualities (such as intelligence and perseverance) as well. I wouldn't stop liking Madara if he got nerfed.

Also, you could also see money as an indicator of the effort and diligence that a person put into accomplishing their goals. That is not superficial.
