We all just pretend we are kind, like a piece of armour we surround ourself with that lie so we can sleep well.
But really if people truly were "good", we would all live under horrible circumstances.
You know the quote, all it takes for evil is for good to do nothing?
It's totally backwards, good is to enable evil, and in order to stop evil you need to be evil, except you call it good.
Being "good" would mean sacrificing your resources to those in need.
Nobody does this, becaues it goes against common sense, maybe some people do it in small ways, but as a main path it's not smart. If I gave my money to someone in need, then I would lose all potential to get somewhere in life, because if I want to excel in something I need that money.
Meaning I need to actively make a choice not to make myself homeless, but to remain descent.
And that means people will continue to suffer, and it's my fault.
Nobody gets anywhere because they get help, that only drags other people down, people get to places by themselves in the end.
As soon as they stop thinking about themselves they start to lose.
