They were calling Karin better for the reason you are claiming, they are calling Karin better because Karin, unlike Sakura, just wanted Sasuke to be happy and actually made friends with other people who fell for Sasuke. While Sakura, ended her friendship with Ino over Sasuke, and only wanted to be with him. Even when it seems like he'd be happy leaving the village, she made Naruto promise to take Sasuke back solely for the purpose of being with Sasuke. So yes, imo Karin is a better character in my honest opinion

I wouldn't defend Ino. She cries over Sasuke when the K11 decide to kill him even though Sasuke has NEVER talked to her. I just don't like how Sakura's character developed and is still obsessed with Sasuke. I'm surprised they have ended up together.

I never said I haven't, but Sakura took it to another level, she basically burdened somebody by having them promise to bring a guy who doesn't even want to be in the village back, and lol if she truly wanted him to be happy, she would've st least tried to understand where he is coming from, at least tried to be a little more sympathetic instead of being all "I just want to be with Sasuke-kun, please bring Sasuke-kun back! Oh he doesn't want to be in this village ? I don't care! If he won't take me with him, I want him back here so he can abuse me more! It turns me on!!" (Before you get on me for that last part, it was meant as a joke, I feel that your kind don't take those kinds of jokes really well... And I never ended a friendship simply because my bff had a crush on the same person as me...

They were fighting on the same side now, obviously she was expecting him to show some concern and she wasn't only thinking about sasuke, many panels in the war she was worrying about Naruto and how he keeps using his chakra to protect the shonibi alliance, I can bring up many scans of that , also she started talking about how much she cared for him because she was trying to convince him to stop obviously, power wise there's no way to stop him, so the only other way was to talk him and you don't even know the story of what happen about her going on the journey with him, it was never explained properly, maybe he went to get her, you don't know so stop assuming

OT: You have to deal with the fact that there is a wide number of fans in Naruto that hate Sakura. No matter how much she accomplished, and how useful she was or the many times she contributed efficiently, and even denying when another character get to praise her skills, you have to accept that some people are way too bias to recognize any of her feats. I mean people are using the fact that she destroyed her house by accident as a legit reason to claim her of being a bad mother, which only was a humor relief and a way to get Sarada away from Sakura, this is a fictional story people, that stuff can happen and no one gets to be homeless... Nobody takes that seriously.

And that's why Kishi had it so easy to troll them in Gaiden. They would believe and exaggerated every stupid detail all they can when it comes to bash her or troll Sakura and her fans.

I am so glad Kishi's final volume was about giving these haters a lesson.

Karin only gave him up because she saw he was happy with Sakura. Again, who makes Sasuke happy? Sakura.

And yeah the double standards isn’t new to this fandom. Karin gets all the credit for a few panels of her being “selfless” and helping her deliver the SS baby. But Sakura, who has been selfless for over 10 years, gets bashed till the end of time. Aside from everything she’s done and how far she’s come as a character, her love for Sasuke has been selfless since she was young. Like Kakashi said, she never wanted to make him hers, she just wanted to save him. But does she gets any credit for anything she does? Of course not.

It’s obvious that they are only using Karin to bash on Sakura. Just like when they used pushed for the Karin-mama drama because they wanted her to shit on SS. Now they’re using her in a different way but for the same reason. They don’t really care about Karin. It’s all about Sakura. It always has been.

Yea, as big an abomination this pairing is and as low as her standards and self worth is, Sakura's a damn good mother and she raised a wonderful little girl. There's not enough hate in the world that can make me take that from her. Now that marriage......if she has never kissed Sasuke, I presumed he banged her from behind in the bathroom of a seedy bar with the lights off? Had it been this "QQ, bring him to me back" his "only" reason -to gain brownie points with his crush btw-, then delivering her crush to her was the most idiotic move ever, sorry. Don´t be so fast to put the whole blame on Sakura`s shoulders, cause Naruto was more than excited -by himself- in chasing Sasuke everywhere... borderline yaoi style tbh.

2. A 12 year old female brat that didn´t suffer some sort of child abuse would hardly be 100% sympathetic with Mr. Extreme Emo. NONE of the female characters in this manga on the same age margin of Sasucakes had the tools required to achieve this -perhaps Temari and that´s pushing it; we would have to suppose she had Gaara´s childhood-. This is why saying one is better than the others has no true logical base as an argument, we readers basically choose by personal preference towards one or the other.

3. Ino didn´t seem terribly sad in regards to losing Sakura´s friendship either, humorously enough she was more annoyed at the fact Sakura was "competence for the heart of Sasuke-kuuun!!". At the end she too put Sasuke over her friendhip bond with Sakura. Ah, but of course, people conveniently ignore it.

It's not that we ignore that Ino too put Sasuke over their friendship, which I get on Ino fans about when I come across them too, it's that Ino was the one who brought Sakura out of her shell, or did you forget that? Before Ino came along Sakura was always bullied about her forehead, and she wouldn't even defend herself. Ino came along and changed that, SHE defended Sakura, SHE brought up her confidence... What did Sakura do in return? Sakura broke the friendship, she gave everything for Sakura just for her to turn around and stab her in the back, at this point in my life I find what Sakura did to be a ****ing **** move, I can actually relate to what Ino must've been thinking...
