People make too big a deal out of Hinata tripping.

People ridicule Hinata for tripping and use it as a means to deem Hinata as weak. However, you do realize that Hinata has been using the byakugan all war. Remember this: The byakugan is similar to the mangekyou sharingan in that it puts a physical strain on the eyes and body when the user overuses it. This was demonstrated earlier in the war when Neji had to be sent to the medical unit because he overexerted himself with the byakugan and couldn't even differentiate between Kiba and Akamaru.

This fact combined with the fact that Hinata is on the battle field with spiral zetsu makes it perfectly feasible and understandable that Hinata tripped most likely due to exhaustion. This is in no way a sign of weakness.

Additionally, people assume that she went unconscious. Just because the panel blacked out doesn't mean that Hinata did. The panel could have gone black simply to show Hinata's private thought. The manga has done this before. In the chapter titled "I don't care anymore", the panel was black when Obito thought the phrase "I don't care anymore". He wasn't passed out. Therefore black panels can be used to show thoughts. Falling doesn't mean automatic unconsciousness. Plus, who passes out from simply tripping (unless they hit their head on something hard)?!!

Also, just because Hinata closed her eyes for a brief moment when she tripped, doesn't mean that she was unconscious. It was at that moment that she thought "Neji, please protect Naruto". Sometimes people close their eyes when they think about deep sentiments like this.

Therefore, you have no basis to just assume that she went unconscious. For all we know, she could have gotten right back up after the trip off panel. I am not saying that there is not a possibility that she is unconscious, but you also can't assume that she is. Therefore people should stop using the trip as a point on which to bash Hinata.

I am not saying that she is really strong, but you people seriously overexxagerate how weak she is. You specifically pin point Hinata while there are some named characters who have been even less impressive than she has been.

1. You don't know that she's eating the earth because we can't assume that she is unconscious.
2. Kiba, Shino and the rest of Konoha 11 and the alliance didn't really seem to be doing much either. Only Hiruzen was countering spiral Zetsu. The rest were getting beat up or doing nothing. This is why I don't know why you point out specifically Hinata.

I don't over exaggerate, but I don't usually have debates concerning her character either, frankly the truth is that some people over exaggerate her abilities

She's barely shown. For good reason.
1)She lost to Neji after her show of heart. Can't really hold this against her since she's always been weak.
2)She can't even talk to the person she loves. In fact she's pretty much a stalker that fans have accepted as cute since a girl is the one doing it.
3) Her ultimate attack barely registered as a distraction to Pain
4) She beat some clones during the war and suddenly she's out of chakra? Weak
5) Her trip. She was trying to run to Naruto, but what was her end game? She doesn't even know medical ninjutsu. Even Ino knows how to do that. If she didn't fall she would get there and still be useless, as per tradition
6) I know that you'll say that she saved Naruto's life, but any character that died right in front of him would have had the same effect. She just happened to be one of the only ones left alive cause of plot. If her sacrifice had really meant anything to Naruto, don't you think he would have said a word to her about it? I mean he didn't he talk to her again till the war
