People, get this through your stick skulls. Someone as deadly and important to the leaf village dies on the battle field by the first hokage hands WOULD HAVE BEEN BERRIED!!!!!!!!!!! They wouldn't have left him on the ground and walk away. So the real question is how madara came out of his grave without anyone noticing.

Remember their was a panel where there was the moon, so it could be foreshadowing that Madara cast a genjutsu.

If you go back to the page where Madara fought Hashirama, you will notice that just before hashirama launched the final attack, Kishi showed us the moon and also there was a black marking used when there is genjutsu. The sword did not actually pierce him, he used his last chakra to perform that genjutsu as Hashirama looked into his eyes... Afterwards the marking was shown again in white painting meaning that the genjutsu is off and u will see that Madara didn't fall on the sword.

I think sometime before he fought Hashi for the last time, Madara performed that body split jutsu that Muu used before. the old madara that found obito was the half that didn't fight hashi and left his will with obito/zetsu. The madara that fought hashi (the younger body) was the one that actually died and was edoed by kabuto and enhanced with senju cells.

I think Madara did died or close to it same as obito and they when to a different place not sure how it worked because if you remember when young obito is talking to old Madara he says you can't leave that's when he starts to use zetsu half. Also Madara Edo was young Madara not some old guy who lived on.
