People has less hate on Kaguya now???

Lots of people used to call her a "filler" villain but ever since The Last and Boruto Movie, it brings to my attention that there's more hate toward the Movie villain than Kaguya. I remember there's used to be heavy traffic streaming through the enitre internet full of hate on Kaguya before the Last makes announcement.

No matter how much you dislike her, Kaguya actually had manga time, unlike any other villain, even Toneri who could have easily had a mention in the Gaiden to legitimize his canoninity.

Ehh.. just some salty people who can't come into terms with facts, that the movie is canon. The hate is more towards the movie then the characters themselves to be honest. Some people who consider that the manga is the only thing that is canon won't even take Kishi's word for it.

All I'm saying is if Kishi wanted to unequivocally canonize The Last, all he had to do was mention Toneri, the Tenseigan, Hamura's spirit, or Hamura's chakra in Hinata in the Gaiden, and it would have been undeniable.

But he didn't, and the fact is he had less input in the movies than he did in the Manga or the Gaiden, which puts its legitimacy in question, despite what Kishi says.

Kishi could claim the novels are canon as well, but would we take them seriously?

Well we would never find out more about Hamura after they seal kaguya if it weren't for the Last, Kishi state it's canon that takes place between 699-700 but other than that I understand where you're going with.

I mean, I understand that they're stated to be canon. But if we consider Filler to be elements of the story that add no relevant meaning to the story, and are never mentioned outside of their medium, then the movies would fall into that category (somewhat excluding the Boruto movie, as there is no manga afterwards in which it could be referenced).

Let's be honest, that ninja ostrich was mentioned just as much in the manga as Toneri.

Kaguya doesn't deserve the hate and the downplaying. People don't realize that Kishi was told to rush thanks shounen retarded Jump, and honestly, I'm getting sick and tired of shit arguments that tend to spread into the base like "oh kaguya was overpowered but she was also stupid" Plot restriction usually tends to limit the villains's overall performance as a fighter and as a character as well, but then again this is NB so I'mma just keep saying "cool story"

As if Shounen would drop one of the most successful mangas in the last decade because the writer didn't follow their time frame.
