Tbh reason why he has it bandaged is because of the Sun seal on his hand which gives out hugh amount of chakras(probly upgraded when he fought with sasuke which we will see)


And you also saw he healed gai from 8th gate .. AND he brought obito back from the dead for a short while ... this means thats his arms were he heals people = alot of chakra he puts into it is massive.


All i can say is that he seals it .. aslong he doesnt do battle or heal someone.
