I don't get why people tend to get so upset when there are spoilers in the opening of Naruto anime.
In fact, they aren't even really spoilers. The anime is an adaptation in the manga. These so called 'spoilers' have already happened quite a while ago in the manga.
Sure they are spoilers for anime only viewers. But there aren't even many of those, especially in Japan where reading manga is one of the most popular things among the population. There may be more anime only viewers outside Japan, but still little and when they are, they mostly are 11 or something. I think that maybe 1% percent of Naruto viewers doesn't read the manga, and that's being optimistic.
So that's why I think that complaining about spoilers in the new opening is completely idiotic. Reminds me of those people who complain about everything they talk about. You know, those fun guys at parties.
I'm even glad they showed so much in the opening because it tells us how much we'll see in the next 6 months.
It also appears to confirm what was tweeted by the director of Studio Pierrot a couple of weeks ago. That it'll be mostly canon after the ANBU arc with perhaps some filler padding.
