I disagree. I think this was needed. It has been needed for a long time now. There hasn't been an ounce of comedy this entire war. It actually felt like the days of part I when Naruto would do something comedic to remove the tension....

Like Farting in Kiba face during their match.

I think you guys forgot that part of Naruto (and in myth the fox spirit) is a prankster. It was not only comical it allowed him to strike the 1st blow ever against Kaguya.

Just take it for what is-comedy and move on with your lives.
