I know that Tobi fans are outraged because of Obito=Tobi, but i makes sense to me, besides all the signs that Masashi left your expectations should not be so high.. like kakashi same ability, when tobi fought konan you see the scars from the rocks falling into him.. I mean you guys where expecting some one extremelly powerfull like Izuna..

Exactly, I thought about and I see why he would choose Obito from a narrative standpoint. The plot holes will be explained. Here is a post on another thread which sums up how I feel about it.

After some thought though I think Tobi being Obito actually makes him a better villain. Obito is a good guy character. It makes Tobi seem humanized and highlights the perils of the ninja system, it justifies his motives and shows how anyone can be corrupted by hatred and that is why he wants an infinite Tsukuyomi, a bit like Harvey Dent in the Dark Knight.

No other character would have a connection with the reader, the only other one that would even come close to making sense in terms of affecting the reader apart from Obito would be Izuna.

Here is my explanation.. Awakening Mangekyo is to see or witness the death of someone u love, knowing this in the accident Obito heard the Rocks falling into rin and kakashi, believing that they were dead he awakened his Mangekyo and used the dimesion travel to get out.. saw the horrors of war and got traumatize, with making a genjustu for everyone in the world..
Or some Zetsu saver bullshit. either one..
